Week 4 2020 Episode 50

The Heroine had a good time and sole much games and met many new to the SCA folks at the 12th night. She also got to explain all the joys of being an MOAS to a class. (WARRANTED  MOASs' YAY!) Now her project of highest priority is the Game set she is entering in the Queens Prize Tourney at Val Day Feb 22nd.
The out law was taking on water faster then a sinking ship and spent the weekend in the Building of wellness were they baled the water. The good thing is because he was forced to rest and someone else care for him The Heroine and the Gallant Bard did not have to worry about his safety and well being while at 12th night. And he came home on the day of Mon. The Gallant Bard and Heroine rearranged his room while he was gone (took 4 hour so it had to be done while he was gone) And we hung all his art and photographs. The day of Wed the Scooter lady came to do paper work so that the Brother-in-law can be a satchel of Richards on wheels.
The Heroine is chasing a rabbit writing rules for a Game of medieval origin.While also writing rules for Egyptian sticks. And making a Pelican Medallion for a dear friend. and Making pins for all the judges and Entrants of the region A&S Faire. For the Pins she is working on strawberry lamp-worked strawberry beads. All in all it is a slow week for the Heroine The Side Witch has her birthday at the end of this fine month and as Such there will be Mongolian beef  (check the Cooking with Strawberry Blog for details and recipe after this week end) The Heroine has been getting better about posting to her Walls of Words at least once a week to one of the four blogs.
Tomorrow the Heroin is going to pick up the Tailorville Time Lord & her companion Lilith Destroyer of Worlds for the Port of Flying tubes.  So come see us next time as we find out what Lilith Destroyers of Worlds has licked or bitten while away on travels right here on As the World Burns.

As the World Burns, 1st week 2020 Ep.49

The Heroine is dealing with Issuance issues for her Brother in law. She is his #1 care giver but he is difficult hence his name a Satchal of Richards. At this time she is also back to the eat well lose weight to remove the weight she regained before having a negative. This means she who is in charge of dinner has the whole house on a Low carb, low cal, tastes good, eating plan.
With a new year she has broke out a new Journal. In past years this was mostly personal scheduling and goals. this dawning of 2020 she has added family appointments since she needs to know these things for driving Bag of Rickards to appointments and effects meal planning. Also the act of writing down a thing helps it registrar in the memory better and the poor Heroine needs all the help she can get there as she uses Benadryll which messes up your memory. She shares a google calendar with The Gallant Bard and also tends to post auto drafts on the calendar to help not forget them now. She has also made a single month calendar that shows when each bill is due and if they have a set amount it is on it.
The Heroine has already stocked the cabinets with the paper goods so no store shall find them lacking and no cold either.
The Side Witch has returned to the WW, and is helping with food planning and She along with the Brainy Besty are Taking over about one meal a week.
IN the House the Heroine is working on setting up her torch and kiln in the new studio, she is also working on a Circular Chest Board.
A trip to The Land of Great Winds with, Master La Grenouille, and The Gallant Bard, will be for the Kingdoms 12th night, and Tournament of the Arts. She needs to get to her torch to have kings men ready for the Master of Card Faces HH.

As The Word Burns, a New Year of reflection 2020 Eps 48

Today the Heroine and Gallant Bard went on travel to the Ville of E and signed the Bard up for Uke lessons. Then they stopped an consumed nutrition at Clean Eatz and were very pleased. Came home with Popeyes for the Bro in law. Then the Gallant Bard cut a board and mounted it to the out side soffit to keep the raccoon out we hope. The heroine helped plan the strategy for this endeavor. However in general the Bard doesn't want help
The next day the Heoine slept late and is feeling off her game. The Bard worked on electrical after it was decided that the basement stove braker could be tapped into for power for the kilns in the studio. The heroine cleared off a shelf and brought it down stairs but then just got out of the way because the Bard was grumpy and didnt want help at all.
New years is bringing much after 2019 was very challenging. (Exp The heroines Birthday involved the emergency moving in of the Brother in Law or they wouldn't release him from the hospital, and He Darling Daughter Moved to Vancouver WA)
But It is 2020 and we are starting with a fresh eating plan.

Read one book for enjoyment a month
make one glass game set per week
and post to one of my blogs every week.

"As the World Burns" were back. Eps. 47

The Brainy Besty, of the Gallant Bard has moved in, she has her own room upstairs. The Gallant Bard now is a industrial printer engineer\tech. and the Heroine is a Personal assistant to the G. Bards Bag of Richard's  Life is challenging and we will move forward because we do that. The nest is now empty. The Brother in law now lives in the room formally occupied by us. We are hid in the dungeon. Where the Glass and studio arts room is being built. And now we will continue our story for all to follow once again.

As the World Burns Ep. 46 the weekend of preparing for summer

On this edition of As the World Burns, We find our Heroine at a Friday Jr High school demo, were she has had her ass handed to her by Baron Origami multiple times. After her rough start to her day in which her wrought iron screen door decided to reenact 100 and hit her in the accidies heel. But at last she did persevere and fought bravely as he slaughtered her with his superior skill. (she doesn’t practice enough really). She then went on to murder most of the 6^th grade Mah ha ha ha! With cards of fate Because out Backword Bard (pleay on words not ms) could not be there to kill them himself and I couldn’t bear to see these children live just because her couldn’t be there,  (Cards of Fate are Brought to you by the one and only Jonathan Jetski’s and will be appearing in my Personal arts blog as made by him. Thank you it is a wonderful way to describe life and death in the middle ages in 30 min to pre-teens and makes them laugh at the same time)

Sat We find out Heroine out in the back yard attacking the never-ending list of chores that is being a home owner. The Galant Bard helped and because of him we have a new advisory the GAZIBO of Death. (look up D&D stories to understand this reference) It is very lovely and has a mosquito net and a curtain to block light or people for when it is to peoplely, it also has thumb screws and could go camping with us.

I transferred the new added soil and such to pots that I already have and have since planted sugar snap peas. I added some extra seeds to the pots that grow, basil, thyme, parsley, & dill. All of which have already shown that they are sprouting from last year left behind seeds. By keeping these in the same posts and letting them all go to seed the butterflies are happy and the bees too. I found a butterfly in pupa stage in the pot while I was prepping it and put it back so it could hatch when it is ready thanks to the lesson I had while in Florida with the G.Bard and the Princesses and the Wook. It was so cool to find it and know it was my favorite Painted Lady Butterfly which loves Cosmos and that it is very native to this area. In fact, My Princess who is my Baby and I took care of some caterpillars that turned into these very butterflies when she was my baby and not a full-blown Princess.

On other agendas I the Heroine and the G. Bard drove to the Ville of Taylor after the G.Bard took care of the Bag of Richards, which he doesn’t on week ends so The Heroine does not have to do. Where they did load the stuff of the Brainy one unto the truck and haul it to the house so she may reside with all her belongings. Me didn’t only leave behind the least of utmost stuff.

The Heroine then decided that chicken in the style of Golden milk would be for dinner and there fore did make it happen

Buisyness Tue "As the World Burns" Eps.44

The day starts for Our Heroine, with walking of Darling Dicky's, Foxy Girl. And emptying Dick's Foli collection bag, & changing it to the walking around bag. Then we head out for his Appointment. The Queen of Dorks arived to care for Dicky's house. (By the goddess Bless her heart).
The Heroine will be gathering with fellow Medievalists, at the Waggon of Chuck, then on to buisyness meeting. So eating then meeting.

As the World Burns " Making a house a home Ep. 43

The weekend brought the Gallant Bard home and the Heroine had plans for him. Besides their 3 mile walks that are a given, they rearranged the living room. This was quite the amazing transformation. seeing as it make a truly successful Magic picture box sitting area And it brought the 2 Inter-web stations for the Bard and Heroine out of the mural room clearing the pathway to the Garden Portal. It also gave the Music an area. Plants found new homes near the Garden Portal, rocking chairs and small wood table found homes in the Ball room. And Snoopy got more dressed and is hanging out in the Music area and is dressed and ready like he is channeling Arthur the Quiet. They day of the Sun was spent working on garb for the Taylorville Time Lord.  2 things were remembered by our pair, 1 that T Tunics while simple aren't fat, & 2 that the Heroine never could make a simple T-Tunic. No really She can't it must have exterior faced neck and multiple strips of different color fabrics for cuffs and bottoms. The addition of trim would put it over the top and the Taylorville Time Lord has taken up Inkle weaving and is going to make some it will be so fabulous. She was never given the chance to try and make plain T-Tunics because her 1st event was Pennsic 21, and she was taught to make 5 tunics and they all had piping and exterior colors and multi color cuffs so that even if she was needed to be in court she would look good.
The duo also cut out and interfaced the workings of a new doublet for the Bard but we are not sure if we will have it finished for Crystal Ball 34 (2017).
