As the World Burns " Making a house a home Ep. 43

The weekend brought the Gallant Bard home and the Heroine had plans for him. Besides their 3 mile walks that are a given, they rearranged the living room. This was quite the amazing transformation. seeing as it make a truly successful Magic picture box sitting area And it brought the 2 Inter-web stations for the Bard and Heroine out of the mural room clearing the pathway to the Garden Portal. It also gave the Music an area. Plants found new homes near the Garden Portal, rocking chairs and small wood table found homes in the Ball room. And Snoopy got more dressed and is hanging out in the Music area and is dressed and ready like he is channeling Arthur the Quiet. They day of the Sun was spent working on garb for the Taylorville Time Lord.  2 things were remembered by our pair, 1 that T Tunics while simple aren't fat, & 2 that the Heroine never could make a simple T-Tunic. No really She can't it must have exterior faced neck and multiple strips of different color fabrics for cuffs and bottoms. The addition of trim would put it over the top and the Taylorville Time Lord has taken up Inkle weaving and is going to make some it will be so fabulous. She was never given the chance to try and make plain T-Tunics because her 1st event was Pennsic 21, and she was taught to make 5 tunics and they all had piping and exterior colors and multi color cuffs so that even if she was needed to be in court she would look good.
The duo also cut out and interfaced the workings of a new doublet for the Bard but we are not sure if we will have it finished for Crystal Ball 34 (2017).

As the World Burns "A day with out pay" Ep.42

Here is hoping this is not the Answer to life the universe and everything.
The week of Samhain or Years end. Finds our Heroine at work while the Super Dork out front as a living house decoration with a fire in the fire pit and the Skeleton of a dragon, Handing out treat bags Glow sticks and Skittles to the 20 trick or treaters we were graced with. Scaring a few.
The Day of no pay or regular work obligation came and found a long list of things to accomplish, dethatch the Kizzy, meet with Diet Dominatrix, shop for the four footed bosses and the other sustenance supply restocking, and venture to the Storage unit that never ends. To all ends it was fruitful. Some things were not done and were named do soon or next week because Even the Trow rug was dethatched  so the smell wont go back on Kizzy. In the Storage unit that never ends long lost treasures were unearthed much to the delight of the heroin. A large chunk of Mt St Helen Ash (Pumis Stone) was recovered and a large piece of Rose Quarts. Also unearthed were the treasures from the sea. Which means there will be no shopping when the bathroom decoration starts till we see all that there is. As the World Burns "The Gallant Bard's Birthday" Ep. 41

This episode we find the Gallant Bard celebrating the anniversary of him riding the space ship earth around the sun. As such He got to pick the days activities. It started with Bacon, & Eggs with tomatoes and onions. Then he and the Heroine headed out on an adventure to the land of Joann's to pick up some future garb trappings or insulation for the house depending on how long it sits. A long the way they had lunch at Latawata Creek. The Gallant Bard enjoyed this so much he almost licked his plate. (Don't go there if you are on a diet they have nothing safe). They found a gift for the Bard's Bro Rick for Christmas. after getting home and starting cutting they realized they must hunt and find the facing for the inter. while searching they emptied a shelving unit in to the fabric dresser that the The Great Wizard Of Aim, help clear a spot for and put into the bedroom sewing room. Clearing a shelving unit to go to the basement laundry room that just got clean this week thanks to the Heroine and the Princess. They didnt find any Facing for the Inter so off the the Mart of Wall they toodled. There they found a Gift for the Locks of Dread so Two people are now already bought for for the Holiday of the Son. Return home they did again and the Heroine finished cutting out fabric then they Both made diner for the House hold. Chosen meal chicken cutlets (using almond flour seasoned with Italian dressing mix for the breading) carrot fries and sugar snap peas. Tomorrow when The Gallant Bard gets up before the Heroine he will iron the interfacing to his garb pieces and the Linen for The Gallant Bard's Best Friend the Taylorville Time Lord's Garb, Because the Heroine doesn't iron. He will also buy a iron because we they lost theirs in the house fire and only have a small travel iron.

As the World Burns "Perambulation" Ep40

Our Heroine is working 2nd shift, and as such finds herself learning to go to sleep at 12:30 and sleep to 9 or 10. This doesn't work for her. she might choose to change her sleeping scheduled since in a few weeks she will have 3 weeks of 5 pm to 7 am shifts. She is conflicted because she requires her work out time and her Perambulation time with the Kizzy. Today on 3 mile Perambulation the weather was such that they kept a fair traveling clip, only stopping for leave deposits and to seduce the Barber out of dog treats, Kizzy conned him out of 2 today) and drain his water bowl.
Over the Weekend the Gallant Bard moved the fire wood and cleared the fence next to the driveway since the Squash had all been harvested, making it winter friendly. Then the Locks of Dread spread the debris that was pulled from the pond in the spring making it a little bit hire.
The Heroine hopes to put flag stone there some day to make the dive way larger yet not with more cement, so that she can park the tailor there & put the yard rubbish bins there.
The Heroine received a package from Sandmand, full of wine corks, (Don't judge us) now she has to figure out were to use them or wait for more.
Inside not much has been going, She intends to switch out the living room and Music room in the front of house before the high holidays.  After the Heroines holiday work there will be much activity with working on the bathroom and getting rid of more stuff in boxes.

As the World Burns "2 ships who pass in the morning" ep.39

Our Heroine is working 2nd shift supervising wearhouse Temps. She has Thorday off. She woke up early since the spousel unit The Gallat Bard came into town the night before and in order for her to interract in person with him on Thorday before he had to catch another flyie machien out at 11am she had to get up early.  This left her forcing herself to stay up till regular bed time @ or after 1230am so she will be back on schedual for 2nd shift tomorrow. meh sleeps over rated, Right? wait till She goes to the 3 weeks on 5pm to 7 Am shift mah ha ha ha.... Tune in next time to see if the Heroine rembers to Do her laundrey or has to go to the wearhouse in work out clothes since she doesnt fit in any of her old size 16 clothes and only has 4 pairs of size 9 pants.

"As the World Burns" Back from summer Break, (Ep.38)

After a 3 month Break we find our Heroine, is 45 lbs less then she started the year. She has also successfully survived her attempt to kill herself by running a 5k in Sept. She managed to make it under 43 min. The Gallant Bard joined her, he ran the whole stinking thing and finished in around 28 min. The Princess has added Barbering School to her Accomplishments. The Lockes of Dred has been booking more shows. And life is going okay for us all. My miniature pony dog Gave us a fright by having an allergic reaction to dyes in food we think. Costing us over 3000 over a 2 month period.
The Gallant Bard continues to gallivant around the country racking up flyer miles and hotel points.
Recently the Heroine, and Bard, took themselves to the Land of Mickey and liquid sunshine but  didn't go to see Mickey, instead they chased Vodka, and the sun across the land from sea to shining sea. There are plans to return and do it again in two years.

"As the World Burns" Hot Springs Village, (Ep.37)

As the World Burns Hot Springs Edition, Out Heroine, the Galant Bard and the Side hitch all road the White stallions to the Springs of Hot, stopping along the way to Eat in a Port of Fling Machines Magic flying craft Restaurant. The Bard was not amused (that is what he gets when he sleeps though meal stop discussions)   

In the land of Springs that are Hot the Bards, female parental Unit (Grandmere’) the G-Pa of Bills and Pie Juice (Mama Joyce), happily greeted the travelers. Bacon of the Petit Jean mountain was procured, rocks of the sparkly shiny were collected, and the travelers didn’t strike it rich in the Crater of Diamonds, so the heroine brought home red Jasper rocks because she could.  

In the Rocks of Little city, the travelers visited the Bards brother unit, and the Bard's male offspring, Wonder Bread (Brad).

The Travelers then headed south to Eldorado where they got to give some loving to their favorite Outlaw (Marianne) and the LOLO of perfect date birth. While visiting the Spudnut store to eat the best doughnuts ever.  

At last their adventure came to an end and they headed home with the Butcher block they procured from Grandmere’, and spring water from the Hot Springs that was still hot 8 hrs. later when they got home (I should have put tea bags in them)

Just a word about the Blog "As the World Burns"(36)

I had a little time between posts. I will try and get better about posting. Some times life is just too mundaine to take and even typing is exasting. I get home from work between 5 and 6 depending on if I work out, at which time I walk the dog for 1 to 3 miles. I procced this making dinner. I prefer to make this from scratch because I am eating healthy and dieting along with the work outs to lose weight (I am down 12lbs at the time of this post) we sit around the table for about 30 mins just talking (me and the roomates, the husband works away from home so he is not in the picture except on weekends) I have to prepare my lunch for the next day.

“As the World Burns” (Ep.35) Pool, Pond, & Garage Oh My

On this episode of “As the World Burns” we return to find our Heroine struggling with finding room to Art in the garage. She is afflicted with intense control issue of needing everything to find a home and not just get moved around again and again. She doesn’t like to touch an item more than once. When an item is touched, she wants it to be brought to its home, where it will live. As such She managed to put away 7 plus boxes. She also transferred games to a shelf in the dining room/ game room. She took a desk that was living in the Mural room and rehomed it to the Garage as a Lamp Working Station. The Garage can now we walked though.                The Princess, rescued frogs from the pool in the back yard. Locks of Dred, and Sea Jay Bird drained the pool in preparation for the repair work to get it up and running. They also fixed and got the pond and water fall cleaned up. They power washed the cement grass, and pulled the weeds and vines. The back yard looks FABULOUSE!Tune in next time and see what project in going on, on “As the World Burns”

“As the World Burns” (Ep. 34) Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and its Spryng Thyme!

On the last episode of “As the World Burns” our heroine was sick She has finally gotten a little better, as she went from flue too, a cold too, her spring allergies (those suck, but I know how to deal them).
Mean while, there are 3 Barking trees that are flowering in the yard. The heroine has filled 4 plastic whiskey barrel planters and seeded them with herbs and has 4 more to do with more Herbs (3 to 4 per different herbs pot).

The Galant bard brought the antique treadle that was his great grandmothers (from his’ father’s, father’s grandmother if I remember correctly) and the industrial sewing machine home from the storage unit. Then he set to arranging the bed room to house three sewing stations. (one is the serging area)
The toads or frogs that the Princess was all worried about lived in the pool all winter and now are serenading her.
The Heroines magic typing boxes mystical powers are fading and so to make it talk to the interweb it must be wires to it. The Heroine ordered green cabling because there is no way to hide it over the door of the Palermo room, so she made it green and added silk flowers to it so it becomes part of the mural.

“As the World Burns” The Mastering the Bed Room Ep.33

 

Today on As the World Burns, The Heroine come too not well because she didn’t have coffee, to find the Galant bard mopping the kitchen (sexy) shortly after the Heroine had coffee because the Galant Bard went out to pick her up tea bags and brought her Blonde coffee (being sick sucks but being a little spoiled makes it not quite so bad) we find the Galant Bard and the Heroine going though boxes in the bedroom. These are the remains of stuff cleaned at the cleaners because of the house fire. During this endeavor the Galant Bard had to make the Heroine go sit down and rest as her head cold had gotten the best of her multiple times. He brought her boxes of books to go though. The Heroine realizes she needs another bakers rack in the kitchen for cook books and stuff. The Galant Bard rearranged the bed room as the Heroine wanted it, then fed them both and put the Heroine down for a nap. The Heroine found the new lay out for the bed room very restful. There will be room for three sewing machines in the Bedroom. The industrial machine, the Viking and then, the serging station, were one of the three sergers will be set up and the other two will be a shelf threaded but ready to switch out at a moment’s notice. The rest of the sewing machines will be set checked then closeted for sewing parties. And One that belongs to the Side Witch will be set up in her room. “As the World Burns” Sexy cleaning staff (Ep.32)

 This episode of “As the World Burns” we find the Gallant Bard scrubbing the 2 main rooms of bathing, much the Heroines pleasure (nothing sexier than a man Cleaning scrubbing). 

 The Princess was in desperate need of pants for work and so had to go and procure 5 pairs. 

 The Heorine made Raman noodle flavor packs for the Millet rice noodles that she got at the big box store, because she is allergic to MSG). She used dried veggies and a dried chicken soup mix or beef broth mix to make the seasoning packs. 

 Thurs, the Heroine went food shopping with La Grenouille. There she spent way too much and bought way too much, normally the house only stocks one to two weeks’ worth of food. so they have most every thing they should need that is not fresh to build meals for a while though there will need to be 

 She has the menu built for the week. The week is promising to be back to normal and so cold weather foods are in. From the Jewish cook book Mushroom barley soup is Mon, Pasta & salad on Tue, Chicken soup on Wed, Beef stew on Thurs., and nightshade less Marinara for Fri. This should leave left overs for the whole weekend. The heroine has plenty of work lunch stuffs to bring so that she can make the best choices at work when she gets hungry, and there will be yummy left overs to bring as well she is looking forward to Mondays meal already.  

 Other then that the Weekend was very mundane, dog food bought, laundry washed.

"As the Workd Burns" how to hunt a sofa (Ep. 31)

On this episode of As the World Burns, our Heroine  & the Gallant Bard, are joined by the Side Witch and Super  Dork. They found a secret lair of hotel furniture  and casino  cast offs. There the Side Witch found a recliner to go in her room and make a reading nook. And the Bard and Heroine found a couch, a leather computer chair and two night stands.  They cleaned the living room and parlor and placed all the new items meant for use there and the house becomes more of a home.  The next day they bought air filters for the family cars and replaced them. Then they cut and re hung the crown molding in the Princesses kitchen. They bought and assembled a wood working bench too. It was a productive weekend.

"As the World Burns" Kidnapping in Jax & wing backed chairs fly in to the parlor (Ep.30)

This week on “As the World Burns” Our Heroine left out of the port of flying machines that eats luggage, in the city of Louis the Saint. She flew to Jax,Fl to complete a kidnapping. The tools for this involved were as follows, frequent flyer miles, Uber, and a rental truck. Aiding and abetting were carried out by The Galen Bard and the Church of Latter day Saint (Thank you guys) The Heroine, did indeed successfully Kidnap one human and one dog and one cat. (MAH HA HA HA!)
 She Brought the longtime sister/friend MaryMoon and her 2 furry 4 footed companions to come join the family. (I think we now qualify as a zoo, 3 cats, 3 dogs, 1 dragon, and 1 python and any number of mice depending of the feeding day, one of which the locks of Dred has grown attatched to and named Stewart and so can not be food)
 Then while looking for a nicer more functional bed frame, our Heroine was able to find not 1 but 2 wing back chairs in a shade of Blue Chambray (for men that is work shirt blue). They match the rugs and go with the walls in the Living Room / Parlor perfectly. She is still hunting for the perfect couch.

“As the World Burns” The Body is a temple mine is just falling apart (29)

“As the World Burns”

On this episode “As the World Burns” today and this year our Heroine has set the goal of the year to take care to improve the castle and in every castle there is a chapel or temple, and the Body is a home and temple of the soul. As such the Heroine and Side Witch have joined a, temple improvement center together. She has the goal of attending 3 times a week, and so far she has, every week done so. Dispite the Evil cooking fairies keep selling her crack, (I ate a whole box of savanna smiles yesterday) the Heroine is working on her temple improvements. Today she upped her weights on all of the upper body machines and did an extra 10 min on the bike. At home she has doubled the walk distance for the Big Black Furry Beast, Earthquake, and when she has her grand-dog, Terror from the Ankles Down, Aftershock. Within this mission, she has an improvement co-conspirator squad of other likeminded folks (and like bodied), such as The Birdie of Silliness and, The Gillie Flower, who are doing home temple improvements too. (Supper friend go! Team form the shape of anything other than round, because I am done with round, YAY TEAM!) Team members help cheer one another on to get out and workout.  Sometimes simply making one another change into gym clothes so that it is one less excuse. “As the World Burns” Shopping (28)

“As the World Burns”

The Galant Bard did install that door to the Princesses’ suite, and true to form she went right out bought colored chalk and drew art on here side and Penises on our side. (I won that bet)       

This weekend on “As the World Burns” Shopping is done and the Tall Ranger make the sink down stairs work so the Princess will have one less thing to complain about. (Love you Baby) our Heroine and the Side Witch, explored the land of Louis the Saint. First stop was a time travel stop which resulted in the Side Witch getting a top hat. (Vintage Haberdashery Costume Shop · St. Louis, MO they rent and sell and buy, vintage clothes from the 80’s and older).

We then flew over to try and go to Zaftig LLC, however they were gone, out of business, on that same block we found the Land of my childhood TV ( Retro TV Toys and Collectibles Toy Store · St. Louis, MO) and a Strawberry Shortcake juice glass is now in the kitchen matching the canister set that she bought when she was 9 years old with receipts she saved from A&P.

They then shopped the thrift shops around there, alas nothing found them that had to go home with them. Then they flew over to the Racks of Red with the goal of work clothes for the Heroine. She have not rebuilt her clothing for work since the fire. Many a person has given her clothes, but they were not clothes that would work for her work. (Red Racks Thrift Stores (Creve Coeur, MO) Thrift or Consignment Store · Creve Coeur, MO). There the Heroine was found by many items because they were having a ½ off sale. Frames that will go around the Princesses light switches a few more fun bowls for princess, a rack for her silverware, 5 plus pairs of pants and 3 shirts. Baskets for storing things in, and bunches of other things. By the time they were done, there was no time to reach the Mart of Art. So fueling and home they headed, stopping to eat at the Barrel full of Crackers. The Side Witch talked the Heroin into one more purchase for the princess, firewood (sigh). The Heroine again had to rescue her Galant Bard from the port of flying machines that eat luggage. They then came home with Mexican Phone Co Food for the band of hooligans attending a privet concert given by the Princess and staring The Locks of Dred in the yard of back.

The following day The Galant Bard helped the Heroine cute underlayment for the new scatter rugs that the heroine finally found and liked. The Dog approves. Then the Heroine folded plastic bags like paper footballs. And stored them in the dog walking table. (don’t judge me they take up less room) Mean while the Galant Bard did magic and performed an exorcism on the electric mower that was bought the weekend before the house fire but didn’t work since the house fire and made it work. (YAY! My Hero!)

"As the World Burns" Painting down stairs door (27)

Today on” As the World Burns” the Galant Bard received a surprise package. Within its folds he finds a green and purple tunic from none other than Miss Sandy. This was received with much joy for what it was, who it came from and the thought and love it was made with. The carpet was relayed in the hall way down stairs around the new wall and door frame, which led to the door needing to be removed and shortened to clear the carpet, which meant it needed to be painted on the fresh cut. The Heroine when and bought carpet underlayment for the scatter rugs that she searched for 5 months to find. Tonight there was an easy cherry pie made with a ready made cracker crust and oatmeal and brown sugar crumble ontop. The Galant Bard and Heroine are looking forward to putting the door up tomorrow tune in tomorrow to find out why, Mah Ha Ha Ha!

“As the World Burns” Evergreen (26)

Today on “As the World Burns” Our heroine came home to her Evergreen scroll that Super Dork delivered. (The Evergreen is a grant level award in the Middle Kingdom of the SCA for Arts and Sciences, want to know what I do go back into this blog and see some of the stuff I have made)

 The Princess had her Bea and their friend The Explorer carry the couch I had in my living room down to her Living room. Meaning that a new couch is in order. (this was ok-ed not random marauding while still marauding.) The Princess also cooked dinner on her new stove she has a certain happiness about her with a stove and a real couch. She raided from the Heroines kitchen two forks a wok and wok strainer, the bowls she has always claimed and dish soap and a pot that the Heroine got as a wedding gift that is 15 months older then the Princess. She also got oil for cooking. It must be nice to live below a benevolent overlord. The Tall Ranger stopped by with 4 mini rangers who amused the large fur baby in a game of tag out back. She was happy they came and played and happy when they left. The Viscous Wiener killed the squeaker in the snake and Heroine dug out another that had been rescued and sewed it in WHILE STANDING so that the wiener could have it back but not have to play tug with it while sewing.  So ends this episode of “As the World Burns” Tune in next time because no one ever knows what will happen next.

“As the World Burns” Stove gotten (25)

Today on “As the World Burns” the bard and heroine fetched a stove from a coworkers house out in farm country. So that the Basement apartment is that much more done. The heroine walked to four legged one twice as far because of the lovely weather. The gallant bard booked a flight for the heroine to fly to Florida and kid knap her dear friend. The heroine reserved a truck for her friend’s things. There is much plotting afoot. Now to find fun things along the way to stop and see while coming back. Maybe she should bring a gnome. "As the World Burns" Visiting Friends, (24)

Today on “As the World Burns” Visiting friends. Our Heroine and the Gallant Bard went a visiting; The Bard was delivered to Ville that belongs to Taylor to the BBB’s house (Brainy Beautiful Bestie) where he hung playing games and just enjoying one of his best friends’ company whom he doesn’t get to see near enough. While the heroine traveled to the Handbasket (Decatur) to spend time with The Merry Mor and her Boastful Block Builder (what he like Legos and mind craft it fits and sky dancers what every those are?) we missed our friends and don’t get together near enough. (It is lack of time not lack of love that keeps us from visiting every one.) Then our heroine and bard regathered and met up in Ville that belongs to Taylor with Mystical Piratical Queen and; Valerius with her not so munchkins to do dinner. When they returned home the Heroine ordered rugs she had seen the night before but wanted to make sure she really liked. So soon there will be runners in the hall and rugs in the Livingroom. "As the World Burns" late edition 23 1/2

Special late edition to "As the World Burns" This evening The Galant, helped rescue the Heroine’s master flash drive that she just found. It had all her most personal valued things. It was not being readable and it made her sad. It had been in the house when the house fire happened and then sat for days after word in the humid acidy house after that. It was also bent. (why we don’t know) but he straightened it and got it to read and transferred the content to her 1T external brick. YAY! There was much rejoicing. They also both went out into the Garage and found about half the floor. They moved things and put things away, and made neat many a thing. It is good for the Heroine can get to her little red wagon to use to bring in groceries from the car when she needs it. Tune in for the next edition of “As the World Burns”

On this episode of "As the World Burns",The Galant Bard, The Locks of Dred, Helped, The Tall Ranger, work on installing the door of sliding in the Princesses palace. The Heroine, & Super Dork, delivered stuff to Good Will. While there they found dishes of many colors and shapes for, the princess Cave Troll’s Princess palace. Later the Galant brought her cookies, and the Heroine make her our signature CrispXmix. As the World Burns, cookbooks for the win (22)

COOK BOOKS FOR THE WIN! Tonight on"As the World Burns".The Galant Bard accidently struck gold while looking for his embroidery supply’s, The Heroine had all but given up on ever finding her family recipe book that she has been working on since she was engaged to the Bard. Some of the irreplaceable recipes are her Aunt Joan’s Icing recipe, and Mac and Cheese (which is also on a privet face book group as back up). Her mother’s exact cheese cake recipe in her mothers hand writing, The Bard’s family recipes too. The Joy is over whelming. He also found their marriage certificate in a box of vital statistics it is being relocated to the house binder (after they had spent the 15$ to get a new copy). On this Episode of “As the World Burns” Our heroine and her gallant bard are doing home improvements. Tackled has been, jewelry for the pantry closet, soap dish in the main bath room, refasten tiles in the kitchen, the light over the bathroom mirror, bought was the sliding glass doors for the basement apt and the 2 interior doors, to put in a door between areas that either has a wall and needs a door in it. Or is a passage that has no door. And the hardest of all the looking though the boxes in the Library/sewing room. There were about 24 or more but they looked at them all. And except for 3 clothing boxes and two boxes of non SCA fabric they are all emptied, oh and didn’t attacked the knickknack and boxes of crystal either. During this advancer there was a pause when “The Tall Ranger” and “Gentleman Viking” came and worked with the Galant Bard to remove a cast iron porcelains coated bath tub from the Side Witch’s bath room bringing it one step closer to being a useable bath room again. While they did that the Heroine made cookies. This ends another episode of “As The World Burns”

As The World Burns X-mas Eve, & start of Hanukkah (20)

On "As the World Burns" our heroine is sipping wine and kicking back after deep frying Scandinavian Rosette cookies and Polish Chrusciki cookies. The Galant Bard installed the shower into the bath tub unit so now there is a shower upstairs that works. No more traveling into the basement Apartment for showers the tenant (daughter) will be thrilled. Dinner was delivered from the Chinese food restaurant and gifts have all been wrapped and are under the tree and our Happy couple are getting ready to fill and put out stockings so they are ready for morning since the Daughter and Boyfriend are out at a concert that boyfriend is doing.  For the 8 nights of Hanukkah Our Heroine is listing 8 virtues & Vices that she has and to work on in the coming year. Let’s start with the list of all of them

I waiver into Cynical a lot especialy after the Election of Repubical to controle the congress and a moron white suppremisist and his side kick the anti christ in the White House. zThe challenge I face with being practical is to not be so much so that I am blinded into submition. The hate legislation doesnt effect me directly so why care. But since it effects my family and freinds and even strangers I do care. But it is hard to not be fearful. Anti weomen legislation hurts my and my child and my neice, anti queer legislation hurts my son and Neice and freinds, anti health care effects my daughter directly and so many of my freinds and family. Pro aubuse of the justicst system treating people of non white skin color effects my friends. Anti fair wages then anti food stamps leave some of my freinds with no food and the food banks are running short. there is a lot to hope for because I want to work on being Practical and not fearful and Cynical.

“As the World Burns” (19) long lists for things to do"

On “As the World Burns” tonight we find our Heroine wore out from many things. The list goes like this. 1.Take Hundi to get tie fixed (warrantee fix $0 out of pocket) 2. Buy paint samples to touch up walls 3. Buy wood screws 4. Buy cheese cake supply’s, 5. Pay storage fees, 6. Take left over donated clothes to Goodwill, 7. Install lights in the Princesses palace, 8. Scrape clean paint touch up spots,9. Fabric, and foam for dining room chairs, 10. buy more light bulbs. 11. Help make diner. Diner was sweet garlic chicken, candy carrots, and cous cous. So the Heroine had to make brown sugar (2 tablespoons blackstrap molasses to 1 cup of sugar) Our Heroine was told that a paint sample chip wouldn’t work well because they sample was too bumpy. So she nailed the color by mixing two paint samples one to light the other to dark, together. Fabulous she can almost not tell were the new pain is and she painted it. The Gallant Bard lead the light instillation project and made sure to get everything needed for it and have a plan of attack. He also went with the heroine to stores and to get his tire fixed. He followed the heroine around the Fabric store with a plastic skeleton of a bird tormenting her. The thing came home with them. Today on "As the World Burns" The side Witch has contacted a Hoard Brother about rescuing the Frog Princes in the pool. His advice is they are safer there over the winter then some were else, and they survive more things then you can imagen and there is a reason they lay so many eggs. The princess doesn't like this answer. Sandman helped Gallant Bard move the top of the china cabinet in to the dining room so that the Bard doesn’t drop it AGAIN. They enlisted the help of Lockes of Dred,“WE interrupt your show for an important amusement THE CUBS WON THE WORLD SEREISE!
We now return you to you regular schedule show. The Garage was further emptied. The Heroine snuck out to buy Plywood for reupholstering dining thrones, and the Box store shopping for sustenance for the canines she also went to a Halloween store too and drove Master La Grenouille to the worm that runs on tracks above ground from his place of financial security. It is always a good day when we get to see friends. For diner they made loaf of meat (butter cracker in it and Tomato soup on top), pumpkin seed green beans, smashed tuber things, & cinnamon apples. Oh year the Cubs Won! FINALEY now they can shut up about the curse.

“As the World Burns”(Ep.17) SandMan Visits

Today on "As the World Burns" Princess is looking for a pool skimmer to rescue hopping Princes from the pool.  The Super Dork was over early in the day and help cleaning the back yard and the Gallant Bard found a new use for a fruit picker tool. It seems that it works well to pick up leaves and deposit them into yard waste bags.  The Sandman arrived and performed interesting tool work on his trailers and managed to spew acid on his face from a battery he forgot was on the other side of the wall he was drilling, THANK GOODNESS for safety googles. He also helps repair a minor wood damage to the Breakfast nook bench set in the kitchen. The Gallant Bard installed more Re-Store illumination finds this time to the front of the house. The Heroine and Gallant Bard Worked tirelessly in the garage cleaning and removing furnishings to their new homes though out the house. Many boxes were emptied and some were just moved to other locations for later emptying. Still she has not found HER cook book. The Heroine caved and bought a cheap food processor for the time being to prepare potatoes for Latkes for dinner. Tune in next time to see what projects will be tackled next on “As the World Burns”

"As the World Burns (Ep. 16) Samhain

Today on "As the World Burns" It is New Year’s or Samhain the end of harvest. Our heroine is glad the year is over the new year will start Dec 21st. This is a time of contemplation and planning what to do the next year. Today Our Heroine and Gallant Bard tackled more Illumination within the domicile today. They installed another of the hunted light fixtures that was painted and one that was hunted and didn’t need painting, and the prize of all prizes my Aunt Joanie's (Julie Schroder) Lenox Chandelier that our heroine’s mom wouldn't let go. They also got books shelves together in mom’s room and somethings moved around. Then a Lesser Demon Super Dork, was summoned and she handed out glow sticks by fire light in front of the house. Tune in tomorrow when our heroines Brother the SandMan will appear in the wee hours of the night which will cause the heroine to make Latkes. Hopefully they will also get seats cut, the coffee table fixed, and the the China Hutch back together.

"As the World Burns" (Ep. 15) Trip to Taylorville

Today on "As the World Burns" The Gallant Bard and our Heroine Drove to, the Ville that belongs to Taylor, there they did a drive by Hugging of the Mystical Piratical Queen, and a pickup of Trash can full of Armour, (a donation for the “Crystal Charity” Silent Auction at the Crystal Ball), by "Thomas of the Hood" (If it was good enough for Errol Flynn it was good enough for him) It was his way of giving back to someone else because the charity once raised money to help him with a cancer surgery. Back home The Side Witch collected the Super Dork to join them all on Super Dorks B-day. The Princess had a rough day as she was stricken with a flair, her hands were all tingly and didn’t want to work right (BAD FOR A HAIR DRESSER) she had to leave work and stop at urgent care to have a note (really, no joke, she has a chronic illness and they want a sick note, sigh). Her Bae the Lockes of Dred, fetched frames for art from the store of thrift, with coupons and a gift card was .07 out of pocket, his hunting paid off. When they all returned home Curtains were hung, then Chinese food was summoned. The Pit of Fire was illuminated. And thus ended another fine day, on “As the World Burns”

Yesterday on "As the World Burns" our Heroine and Gallant Bard, did Breakfast together. Then started their list, the cars were cleaned, then they filled them filled at the storage unit, they hit the Re-Store were they found illuminating devices for the outside, and Home improvement store"Highs" were more outdoor things were gotten and keeping the outdoors things were gotten (Drapery rods) Greek food was had and so on. much was accomplished.

"As the World Burns" Over under and around (Ep. 13)

Today on "As the World Burns" The Heroine taught the Super Dork to play the game, over, under and around, also known as walking two dogs on separate leashes. Heroine made fish with fried onions and rice and they ate dinner with Side Witch. The Galant Bard is flying and driving home from his many adventures of making money. And starting the next sun rise It is his Anniversary of traveling around the sun 47 times. The Heroine and Bard have both arranged to take Vacation for a week so that they can have many decorating, & home repair adventures, as they wash the rest of the smoke damaged furnishing and house hold goods and find homes for them all in their new house. There might be some air hockey in their near future. Maybe they should add a foosball too. Hmmmm. Tune in tomorrow when the Heroine says “here’s your Angel Food Cake and birthday cards. Enjoy because we need to get to work” to the Galant Bard. And he will start the day by saying “it’s 8 am get up so we can go to breakfast”

"As the World Burns"(Ep.12) no shopping without food to keep blood sugar up ever again

The store put all the Chickens in two areas both with the price tag that read sale $4.99 large and some small print of what it is. The thing is they weren't they were 5.99 or 6.99 and in the wrong spot, and then the Halloween stuff had signs all over it 40%to60%off. and they had cute small portable bags origanaly $2.49 and she thought "well for 40% off sure why not" no they are halloween but were not suppose to be included in the sale. It just really pissed her off. And she felt that she and every one eals shouldn't have to try and figure these things out. It isent like a customer moved these things. For one the display was zip tied to the shelf. She takes people who have far less disposable income and use to have far less herself too, she still tries and save were she can so she can have that extra money for the fun stuff so finding a deal should not also be a struggle to deal with incompetent stores. Dispite what some people think, she doesnt like to have to make a stink about these things. She just wants people to think things out better. The customer is always right is not a thing, anymore but darn it she chooses up scale super market to get better sales and better produce. However on a brighter side she did just order the missing figuries from her red rose tea collection because she lost some in the fire. and bounus she added some other cute ones because she is a cracker jack kind of girl. "As the World Burns"(Ep. 10)

Today on "As the World Burns" our Heroine made Sloppy Joes with rice and beef, yum. Then managed to figure out all of next week’s menu and make a shopping list and plan to go shopping after work tomorrow. Because of shopping it is rotiserary chicken and steamed new potatoes and a veggie for dinner. But the longer build up the pantry stores list is being constructed. The big hunt is on still for things that will be loved for a long time like area rugs, and runners, along with the construction of a wall pantry for all the items stored in Jars that are best close at hand (open pantry concept) Tune in next time to see if our Heroine escapes the store without a bunch of junk food.

“As the World Burns”(EP. 9)

On today’s episode of “As the World Burns”, We find the low barometer has made the Heroine in a lot of pain. That combined with dealing with a coworker who is irritated at having someone in his space, and the need to still do her old duties on top of my new duties is over whelming her. After work she rushed to picked up Master La Grenouille and traversed the terrain of the indoor building of big things, where we acquired the food and maintenance equipment for fine feline care, and some waffles (because everyone loves waffles) as well as a mattress topper. Upon delivering Master LaGrenouille to his abode an urgent cry for help crossed our Heroines portable far texting device. It was Super Dork her son (a dorkling himself) Prince Dork and his trusted friend Boomer were needing rescued. Boomers tire exploded and took out the rim and his lugs came off with the lug nuts. They were rescued by Heroine with the help of an Uncle who took the car by trailer to his place (off the interstate so it didn’t get towed) they we fed at the Obese Clown and then released in to the wild where they can roam free till tomorrow when we all travel to the hand basket. As our Heroine headed home she got to hear the recounted tail of how the Gallant Bard may have found the only WaWa in the land of sun and surf, and say nahnahnaboobo to the Heroine because he got a sub and she didn’t. Oh the tragedy of it. Tune in next time when we find out if the new mattress topper will help our Heroines pain and suffering, on “As the World Burns”

"As the World Burns" the land of unassembed house hold goods. (EP 8)

On this Episode of "As the World Burns" our Heroine's Princess explored the land of unassembled furnishings, at which she hunted and trapped a futon matters 6 rugs and a 6 pack of cinnamon rolls, and a fold up whicker chest for her mother. It was a good hunting expedition. And her attitude seems to reflect having a nice living place. She had friends over. The Princess also came up with a marriage test for couples who want to know if they are compatible, they should be forced to assembler 10 pieces of furniture together and if when they are done if they are still both alive and still love each other they should get married and will already have 10 pieces of furnishing.

Mean while,our Heroine worked in receiving most of the day and made up an hour of her lost time from her needing time off yesterday. Not because she wanted too or anything there is just a lot of receiving to be done.

And the Side Witch explored shopping and learned how to interrupt the Heroines request for 80/20 meat and she hunted frozen veggies for dinner. The Heroine made Porcupine patties (rice and hammer meat served like chopped stake) with the Veggies. Which helped counter act the cinnamon bun she acquired from the Princesses stash.

"As the World Burns" Carpet/Orkin&water Oh My! (EP.7)

Today on "As the World Burns" our Heroine was tortured by horrible service from #HomeDepo and their carpet installation company Superior carpet. This lead to a refund of money and going somewhere else for carpet and thus our Heroine will be getting other things she need at Lowes (like sliding glass doors.) She wouldn’t let them sit for a rabid honey badger they were so horrible and bullies too. Go read the review the Heroine left for them. On the other side of that horror story is a story with nothing to say about it #Orkin they came they had manners they did their job they there was nothing to say they did what I expected of a service. They in convinced the Heroine and Side Witch as little as possible. Two thumbs up for them. The Heroine left them a awesome Yelp review. Our Heroine had to rush home to inspected a very wet area on the floor in the basement and at that time has concluded that the water heater is not the cause. She believes that the water leak that happened the first day of turning the water to the house on is the cause and the plastic barrier of the underlayment of the basement carpet held the moister all this time. As such having the floor uncovered for the day was a good thing.

"As the World Burns" moving draws and doors (Ep.6)

in this Episode of "As the World Burns" The Galent Bard has installed the very heavy double oven with the help of Super Dorcas, and also a dish washer. With only minor damage to the counter. Our Heroien needed to move a drawfront, and a cabinet door. Super Dork cleaned many, many, many smoked damaged Items. During which She managed to throw her phone into a bucket of water. The Side Witch, got many pieces of furniture cleaned and placed in her Room. The shelf unit that will be used for clothes in the bed room is clean and in place. A load of dishes is done and the oven was tested with garlic bread. The Side Witch gave Super Dork a frog skeloton as a thank you. This concludes this episode of "As the World Burns" tune in tomorrow when the Heroine and Galent Bard gets to go to Ted Drews and meet up with one of his High school best buds.Todd Porter, and eat St Louis Frozzen Custard.

"As the World Burns"Oven and Port of Flying (Ep.4)

Today on "As the World Burns" we see that our Heroien has managed to rescue her hero from the port of flying and although his lugage was inspected and messy still seemed to be all there. But alas today holds a full day for both our charecters. There is the delivery, removal and instulation of a dish washer and 2 ovens for our Hero. And our Heroien must pick up death certificates and the remains of her mother. Lucky for both of them they have a Super Dorcas ( Kaziah Strange ) will be coming. There will be scrubbing of furnisher and after the instulation of a dish washer there will be dishes done. ... BUT wait. The removeal of the dishvwasher has lead to the needing of a whole new counter to... our hero is not happy, our heroien is a little bit happy because she wanted new counters.. stay tune for further develoments on "As the World Burns"

"As the World Burns" Bakers Racks Pt II (Ep.3)

As we check in on our heroien on this episode of "As the World Burns" we see that she has returned from home depot with a solution to the bakers rack conundrum, and escaped with only one extra purcase a much needed closet rod. With the bonus of her trusty side witch having also found one of the two rugs she needs for her magical sleeping space. "As the World Burns" Bakers Rack (2)

 On this episode of "As the World Burns" we find the UPS carrier has left our order from the BBC and from Amazon. So The Tardis tree topper will be ready for the after Thanksgivings tree decorating, But the Baker racks are a disappointment, (Dum DumDum) Our heroine ordered two corner units and a main unit from the same make and designer with the plan to put them together. However, the main rack is 4 1/2 inches shorter than it needs to be for the design to look good. Can our heroine make it work, can she survive another trip to TheHomeDepo to buy a 4 X 4 and have it cut into 18" lengths to raise the center. Will she get lost in the store and emerge with things she didn’t intend to buy. Tune in for our next episode to find out, of "As the World Burns"

Today on "As the World Burns", we find our heroine attempting to make a crock pot meal without a slow cooker, on a gas range. (dun dun dun) but she has no lid for her pot. She heads to the Garage of Doom to search though the endless boxes. But wait the first box she spies says Kitchen could it be a ray of hope. She opens the box and is amazed to find not only a lid that will fit the pot she is using, but Her mother’s spring form pans, and the bisque cutting set mother had made for her from spring stainless steel, she had feared she had lost them in the fire. It is a great day for our heroine. But will the food cook right on the gas range... can she get the baked on fire soot off the lid to use it...... stay tune as the adventure continues on “As the World Burns"
